Rotten Tomatoes — a site that collects reviews and ratings from movie critics and ordinary moviegoers — celebrated its 25th anniversary and asked users to submit what they think are the best movies of the past quarter century.

Director Christopher Nolan holds the throne as his films are ranked in the highest positions. Nolan's films are in the first three places: "The Dark Knight" (2008), "Interstellar" (2014) and "Inception" (2010).
