Hair beauty depends on many factors: genetics, stress, hormones, diet, etc. Hair is what you eat! As many vitamins and minerals as possible if you want the hair structure to be full and shiny.
But, first you need to know which processed foods you should avoid so that it does not affect massive hair loss. Hair regeneration expert Dr. Sanjay Batra and founder of a hair line, shows the four foods that should not be part of the diet.
Sugary drinks
When sugar levels rise, glucose flows into the scalp and causes hair cells to 'burn'. Dr.Batra points out that a Chinese study found a link between the consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages and hair loss.
Processed food that raises cholesterol
A scientific study has revealed that the genes associated with removing cholesterol from the scalp do not work. "To have healthy hair you need to avoid processed foods that increase cholesterol levels," says Dr. Batra. "Less fried foods, processed meats and some types of pastries as well as cookies, cakes, ice creams and various sausages. To improve your cholesterol level, take magnesium, healthier fats (olive oil), as well as less processed meat."
Foods rich in carbohydrates
When the body digests carbohydrates like white bread, it raises blood sugar levels. These "sugar drops" not only damage the hair cells, but burden the kidneys and liver, emphasizes Dr. Batra. It is best to avoid white bread and choose rye or black bread. Another food that's best to avoid? Chips. "Balance your meals so you get lots of greens, like broccoli, cabbage or lettuce," says Dr. Batra.
Foods that increase inflammation
If you have any food intolerance, such as wheat or lactose, do not consume these foods because they cause damage to your hair.
