Substancat narkotike halucinogjene nuk janë aspak tabu për familjen Smith dhe personi që e ka prezantuar të gjithë familjen me këto substanca ka qenë vetë Jada Pinkett Smith.
 
Jaden Smith tha se e ëma ishte zanafilla e përvojave të para me këto substanca. “Besoj se ishte mami, në fakt, ishte e para që e bëri këtë hap në familje”, u shpreh ai dhe tregoi se më pas, anëtarët e familjes eksperimentuan dhe e zbuluan vetë se si reagonin ndaj tyre.
 
Jaden, 24 vjeç tha se substancat që krijojnë halucinogjene e ndihmuan që të zbulonte empatinë dhe dashurinë e madhe për motrën, Willoë (22 vjeç) dhe Trey (30 vjeç). “Niveli i dashurisë dhe empatisë që ndiej për ta tani, si pasojë e substancave psikodelike, është një eksperiencë që ndihet në brendi dhe jashtë. Është diçka e thellë dhe e bukur”.
 
Nuk është e para herë që Jaden apo edhe vetë Jada flasin për substancat psikodelike. Në një episod të “Red Table Talk”, ata ndanë së bashku përvojën e tyre. Jada tregoi se ishte njohur me bimët medicinale para 10 vitesh dhe se e ndihmuan që të përballonte depresionin. Sipas saj, ishin terapi.
 
Edhe Jaden tregoi se kërpudhat e ndihmuan që të trajtonte depresionin.

Hallucinogenic narcotic substances are by no means taboo for the Smith family, and the person who introduced the whole family to these substances was Jada Pinkett Smith herself.
 
Jaden Smith said that his mother was the origin of his first experiences with these substances. "I believe it was my mother, in fact, she was the first to take this step in the family", he said and showed that afterwards, the family members experimented and discovered for themselves how they reacted to them.
 
Jaden, 24, said the hallucinogenic substances helped him discover empathy and great love for his sister, Willow, 22, and Trey, 30. "The level of love and empathy I feel for them now, as a result of the psychedelic substances, is an experience that feels inside and outside. It is something deep and beautiful".
 
It is not the first time that Jaden or even Jada herself has spoken about psychedelic substances. In an episode of "Red Table Talk", they shared their experience together. Jada shared that she was introduced to medicinal plants 10 years ago and that they helped her cope with depression. According to her, it was therapy.
 
Even Jaden shared that mushrooms helped him deal with depression.
