The well-known actor Treat Williams has passed away at the age of 71 after a motorcycle accident. The news was confirmed by Barry McPherson, the actor's agent.
According to sources, Treat was riding his motorcycle on a Vermont highway when a car cut him off and the accident occurred. The incident happened around 17:00 and it is thought that the driver of the car did not notice the engine when he took the turn.
He was airlifted to a hospital in New York and given first aid, but unfortunately could not be saved.
