A scoop of this particular ice cream will likely cost more than all the ice cream you will eat in your life.
The towering confection, known as byakuya - "white night" in Japanese - currently costs 880,000 yen ($6,380) per serving, officially becoming the world's most expensive ice cream, according to Guinness World Records.
The ice cream is created by the Japanese brand Cellato and contains truffles obtained in the city of Alba, Italy; it is also covered in edible gold nuggets, two types of cheese and a paste known as "Sakekasu".
The company said its mission is not just to make expensive sweets, but to create a culinary adventure that brings together European ingredients and traditional Japanese foods.
Nice. Next time, make it a little more affordable in price. :)
