Albina and the Kelmendi family represented Albania at Eurovision with the song "Duje", ranking 22nd in the grand final. While Albina's husband expressed his "dissatisfaction" over the triumph of politics in Eurovision, Albina thanked the people and the voters through a post on Instagram, where she wrote:
"The support of my people and others made us winners in our mission and goals of presenting at Eurovision. Our participation in Eurovision and my family's experience is and will remain a dream come true in the best possible way, thanks to you! We are happy and proud that we managed to represent Albania with our artistic, authentic, human and spiritual values!".
Further, he added:
"Me, my family, the composer and lyricist of this work and our staff, worked so hard, sparing nothing of ourselves (and) we were rewarded with your support, first by voting us to go to the final and finally, we showed to the world that there are many of us, we are Albanians and there is no price, no privilege that avoids us from our culture".

"Words are not enough to thank you and it is difficult to find the right words to describe all the love we have received these days from you! With us and with you, Europe, Australia and America sang Albanian! Love and respect each other; this is our culture! We humble ourselves and thank you for everything", said Albina in her post.
