Halsey and Alev Aydin have ended their 2-year relationship and the singer has requested full custody of their son, Ender Ridley, 1. According to "Page Six", the documents were signed on April 5.
Until now, Halsye and Alev have not publicly addressed their split on social media, but sources say the split came as a mutual decision and that they parted as friends. "Their separation was completely amicable and now they are co-parenting to raise their son together," said the source.
He also added that Halsey was forced to sign the request for full custody, since this summer they will be on tour and she must take the boy with her.
Their son was born on January 21 and Halsey made it known through a post on Instagram, where she also announced her romance with Aydin. "Surprise!", she wrote in the album where she appeared with a rounded belly.
Previously, Halsey suffered 3 miscarriages before turning 24 years old. She shared her experience in a letter to Vogue, where she said:
“One of my pregnancies required 'further care', a gentle way of saying I would need an abortion because my body couldn't completely terminate the pregnancy on its own and I was putting my life at risk. During this procedure, I cried. I was afraid for myself and I was helpless. I was desperate to end my life-threatening pregnancy.”
While, when she became pregnant with her son Ender, she said that she "was prepared for the worst".
