A pregnant woman has revealed she is struggling to cope after discovering her sister was also pregnant with her husband.
On Reddit, the woman revealed that as soon as she found out about the infidelity, she was planning a breakup. But as they were breaking up, she found out she was pregnant and that made things even more complicated.
"He begged me for forgiveness. He spoiled me with gifts, offered to buy me an apartment, a new car, whatever I wanted."
The partner had also told her that he "would have no role" in raising her sister's child.
"Until last month I was ready to divorce him, I was ready to start a new life without him and without my sister. I thought my period wasn't coming because of stress, but it took a long time, so I took a pregnancy test. "
After discovering she was pregnant, her husband was happier than ever and insisted it could be a "fresh start" for them.
"He has already bought most of the things we need, provided the best doctors and hospitals, while I can't afford a child on my own. He has been there for me financially since I was 20, I never had to fight by myself. I've never had to work with him in my life."
She adds:
