It may have been nearly three decades since Kurt Cobain's death, but there are many people who still do not believe that suicide was the cause of his death.

One of them is the author Ian Halperin, who has claimed that there is evidence showing that Cobain had 70 times the lethal dose of the drug, heroin, in his body when he was found dead in his home. He made it clear that scientifically, it doesn't make sense for the music star to have killed himself with a gun.

"Based on the evidence I have, Cobain was murdered," Halperin told The Sun exclusively. "He had 70 times the lethal dose of heroin in his body. Forensic pathology experts say it's impossible for someone to handle that much heroin for more than a second, let alone turn around, pick up a shotgun and kill themselves with it.

According to Halperin, at that time Curt "had given up drugs":

"He came back from rehab and wanted a fresh start in life. Someone shot him. Most likely two people. Also, I want to add that there were no fingerprints on the gun they found. The dead have no way of erasing their tracks."

In March 1994, Cobain overdosed on a combination of champagne and Rohypnol, and subsequently entered rehab and underwent a detoxification program. On April 8, 1994, Cobain was found dead at his home in Seattle at the age of 27; Police concluded that he had died on April 5 from a self-inflicted head wound.
