As in last year's edition, this year too, some famous stars like Cate Blanchet appeared on the Oscars 2023 red carpet with a blue ribbon.
The blue ribbon is part of the #WithRefugees campaign, organized by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The campaign aims to raise awareness of the current refugee crisis, particularly for Ukrainian citizens who fled after the Russian occupation.
"And the Oscar for Best Refugee Lawyer goes to...all those who support #WithRefugees. Thank you for your kindness," UNHCR wrote.
