A man has been arrested after abducting and attempting to kill a person in order to "fulfill a murderous fantasy", which would be similar to the crimes committed by the infamous killer, Jeffrey Dahmer.

The man, named Chance Seneca, 21, of Louisiana, was arrested and sentenced to 45 years in prison after being found guilty of kidnapping and attempted murder of a gay man he met on the Grindr app.
According to experts, Seneca compiled a scheme for the 1-month period, in order to find people belonging to the LGBTQ+ community. Seneca initiated the plan by opening an account on Grindr and through the app, Holden White said. The pair agreed to meet at a house, when Seneca handcuffed him and tried several methods to kill the man in question. The methods were inspired by Jeffrey Dahmer.
Seneca thought he killed the victim and tried to dismember the body, but was soon arrested. He gave a chilling interview and admitted that he planned to keep trying to kill gay people until he was caught or killed.
According to authorities, the 21-year-old targeted homosexuals, just like Dahmer. Also, he tried to eat Holden's body, again like Dahmer.
Fortunately, White survived the attack and woke up in hospital after spending several days in a coma. He said there are still marks from Seneca's attempt to cut up his body.

Jeffrey Dahmer remains one of the most brutal killers in the history of crime. With a terrible coldness, he confessed to the murder of 17 boys, from 1978 to 1991. Jeffrey lured the victims to his house, killed them and some of them, he even ate them.
On July 31, 1991, Dahmer was arrested after police searched his home. In it were found: a mattress with blood, a series of photos of dead, dismembered bodies, skulls, human heads, organs and remaining bones of the victims. Dahmer, in addition to cannibalism, also committed acts of necrophilia* on his victims.
Necrophilia - attraction to and performing sexual acts on a dead body.
