Sharing your Netflix password with your best friend or neighbors can get you into big trouble if you live in the UK. British authorities have recently made it a "crime" to gain access to the platform without copyright and without paying for it.
"Piracy is a very big problem for the creative and entertainment industries. Taking advantage of images from the Internet and taking them without permission on your social networks, or having access to movies, series or other events without paying for them it is a violation and it can be called a crime without fear," they said.
The same law can be applied to the distribution of passwords not only on Netflix, but also on Amazon Prime, Disney+ and Apple TV+.
Despite this, copyright laws currently remain unchanged. As far as Netflix is ??concerned, the responsibility will fall on the creator of the platform account who shares his payment with others.
