People on TikTok are filming videos destroying their own Balenciaga products. Someone tears the t-shirt, sneakers and others are burning their wallets.

People have decided that this is their own form of protest, boycotting the firm after controversial ads involving children.

Hundreds of videos have been collected under the hashtag #BoycottBalenciaga and #CancelBalenciaga, which are currently #trending on TikTok.

Balenciaga was criticized this month for its problematic campaigns, which featured children carrying inappropriately dressed bears. The fashion house has since apologized, pulled the ads, promised internal and external investigations and filed a $25 million lawsuit against the makers of one of the ads.
