What can an erotic film actress do together with Dior? Surname…and a law suit.
The French fashion house has sued Gigi Dior because the latter has registered her art name as a trademark. Dior is trying to overturn this decision.
"This is ridiculous, my name has nothing to do with fashion and – moreover, the work I do does not involve clothes at all," Gigi says in response to the lawsuit, which claims it is damaging the brand with her name.
The 40-year-old's request for her artistic name has been approved since last year. She uses the name on social media, her OnlyFans account, etc.

Dior opposes its trademark and states that the name Gigi Dior may cause "confusion" among people.
The adult film actress says she "trademarked her name for entertainment and modeling purposes" and everything was legally fine.
"My request was accepted. Then I got the news that Christian Dior Couture is appealing the approval of my brand. If I lose my name, my brand, I lose everything. I will have to start all over again and this is devastating for me", says Gigi.
