The BBC has poked fun at outgoing UK Prime Minister Liz Truss - with a little help from Rihanna.
Lizz Truss resigned on Thursday after 45 days in office, making her the shortest-serving prime minister in UK history.
Just hours after Truss announced his departure, the BBC's Newsnight broadcast a video montage, later shared on Twitter, summarizing a disastrous month and a half in office. The clip is deliberately set to Rihanna's 2008 hit "Take a Bow".
The song includes phrases such as "you look so stupid now" and "it's time to go, the curtain is finally closing".

As Truss's leadership descended into chaos, the Daily Star newspaper began running a lettuce (salad plant) questioning whether she would outlast the prime minister. On the seventh day, the lettuce won.
Truss lost the party's confidence after her tax cut policies, which were largely seen as economically irresponsible and a boon for the rich, caused turmoil in the market and saw public support plummet in polls.
