Gwyneth Paltrow maintains a romantic tradition that began when she first met what is now her husband, Brad Falchuk.
Although the couple has been married since September 2018, Paltrow still makes him a "boyfriend breakfast" every weekend.
“When Brad was just my boyfriend, I started a tradition of making him breakfast every Saturday,” Paltrow captioned a Vogue cooking video, which she posted on Instagram.
“Preparing and cooking was a way for me to disconnect from other stresses in my life and focus on my boyfriend! It turned out to be a very special moment for us. They are now called #boyfriend breakfasts to this day.”

In the full video, the Goop founder explains why this tradition is, in fact, a "feminist statement."
"I noticed that when I told people that I really enjoyed cooking for Brad, some of my friends would say, 'Wow, gone are the days of making breakfast for the men.' And they always joked about it. So I started asking: Can you be a feminist and enjoy doing housework or taking care of the people you love? I think cooking for the people you love if you want to is a very strong feminist statement."
