Every time a new iOS comes out, our job is to update our phone or ignore it and wait for its update notifications to slow down our every other process! Specifically, these days you are (or will be) updating iOS 16 to see all the new changes it brings - among other things, you can edit the messages you start in iMessages as well as use the "unsend" option. 

However, if you don't want to update your phone manually every time you have to, there is another option! Update automatically, forever.

All you have to do is just activate the "automatic updates" option which automatically updates the new version while the phone is charging at night. If you think about it, it's quite a relief for someone who works 24/7 on the phone to wake up and find the new options ready.

The first thing you need to do is click on Settings and then on General. After that click "Software Update" and you will see another option "Automatic Updates," which has two more options: "on" and "off".

After clicking on one of them, you will see two more options Download iOS Updates and Install iOS Updates. To install both automatically, you need to click on the “on” option.

Once you've done that, you don't need to worry about anything else.
