Meghan Markle gave an interview with "The Cut" and talked about the importance of forgiveness.
"I think forgiveness is very important. It takes more energy not to forgive," she said. "But it takes a lot of effort to forgive. I really tried, especially knowing that I can say anything. I have a lot to say," added Meghan, letting us know that there's been a lot of drama going on in the royal palace.
Meghan has had a complicated relationship with her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton; has accused the royal palace of racism * (even Queen Elizabeth herself has reacted on the issue) and her departure together with Prince Harry has sparked many controversies, which continue to rage today.
*In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan Markle said that when she was pregnant with her first child, Archie, someone in the royal family raised "concerns" about how dark the baby's skin would be, and of course, this "concern" it was so heavy and offensive that it aroused the anger not only of Meghan, but also of those who listened to her interview with Oprah.
The duchess also noted her return to the royal palace, on the occasion of the Queen's Jubilee, and described it as a "surreal" experience, adding that it was "bittersweet because things didn't have to go the way they did."
Anyway, we see that Meghan plans to put the drama behind her... Good for her, but what about our curiosity?
