Meghan Markle managed to wear shorts in the most elegant way possible.

Meghan was in New York for lunch with Gloria Steinem, the activist who rose to prominence as a leader of the American feminist movement in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The Duchess of Sussex opted for a pair of shorts that suited the temperatures New York high these days.

Usually we are used to prefer denim pants in summer, but lately fashionistas are choosing somewhat longer and more serious pants.

Markle chose to match the color of the Lauren Ralph Lauren belt, Cult Gaia bag and suede shoes from Manolo Blahnik. She paired Christian Dior pants with a white shirt.
