Their engagement ended many years ago, but Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt still have a lot of love for each other! During the former couple's last conversation, posted on the actress' "Goop" page, Paltrow recalled his late father in honor of Father's Day and among other excerpts from the romance with Pitt.
"I will never forget the time we were engaged and he came to me one day, with tears in his eyes and said, 'I know, I never understood when they said you had a boyfriend and I I won one. "- said the actress, quoting her father's words and went on.
"What impact did he have on you ... Why did you love him so much even though we were not married unfortunately."
"Yes indeed! - replied Pitt. Oh God, everything goes in its place or not?"
While Gwyneth affirmed his answer, he added that he finally discovered that the two should have been married together.
"I recently discovered that Brad and I should have been married together. It took me 20 years, but it's so nice to have you as a friend now. I love you so much!"
The couple went public as a couple in 1994 after they met on the set of the movie "Se7en." They got engaged in 1996 to separate a few months later. Brad's next marriage would be to Jennifer Aniston and further to Angelina Jolie while Paltrow married and divorced Coldplay star Chris Martin.
In 2018 she married producer Brad Falchuk.
