Due to delays by the authorities in obtaining the necessary licenses for the location, Sunny Hill Festival for the first time will not be organized in Kosovo, but the location of this edition will be Tirana.
"The same dates, the same beautiful experience, different location! This August (due to delays by the authorities in obtaining the necessary licenses for the location), we are forced to go to Tirana. " - recently announced the festival, which is organized by Dua Lipa and her father, Dukagjin Lipa.

Despite the reimbursement of tickets for those who will not be able to travel to Tirana, people seem disappointed.
"I have nothing to do with our Albanian brothers, but Sunny Hill is something that is done for Kosovo," someone wrote. "The measures should have been taken very early," reads another comment. "Are there few nuts in Kosovo?" ironizes another.
Proceeds from ticket sales from the festival go to the Sunny Hill Foundation, which was founded about 5 years ago. His opening ceremony was organized through the concert that Dua held at the time in Pristina where he promised that all proceeds would go to charity.
