The TikTok community is mourning the loss of a rising star. Social media personality Cooper Noriega passed away on June 9 at the age of 19, according to a file provided by E! News. The cause of his death has not yet been revealed.

According to TMZ, which cited law enforcement sources, a passerby called 911 after finding the TikTok star unconscious in a parking lot outside Los Angeles. The paramedics arrived at the scene shortly afterwards but were unable to resuscitate Noriega.

Just hours before his death, Cooper wrote a bizarre message on TikTok. As he lay in bed, he wrote, "Who else thinks he will die young?"

Earlier this week, Cooper also expressed a desire to talk about mental health. He also talked about the fight against addiction that started when he was 9 years old. "My goal is to open a rehab center where people are not traumatized at the end of their recovery and where staff meetings are with trusted people. One of the many things I learned while battling addiction was that being surrounded by people negatives will only hinder you, "he wrote on Instagram on June 6.
