
Adam Sandler fans are calling on the actor to take more serious roles, after seeing him in the new movie, "Hustle" .
Sandler gained fame and success thanks to his typical roles in comedies such as "Happy Gilmore", "Billy Madison" or "Big Daddy".
Now, after the performance in "Uncut Gems" in 2019, the actor has taken on another role in a drama film and again, viewers are impressed.
The story of "Hustle" is as follows:
"After discovering a rare player with a difficult past abroad, a basketball player (Adam Sandler) undertakes to bring the phenomenon to the United States without the approval of his team. "They have one last chance to prove they are fit to go to the NBA."
In addition to starring in the film, Sandler also worked as an executive producer alongside NBA legend LeBron James, who was the producer.
The film, which aired on Netflix on June 8, has been met with praise from viewers, and many are suggesting that the actor "abandon comedy, to make more such films in the future."
