Shay Mitchell and Matte Babel a few days ago became parents to a girl for the second time. Shortly after sharing with followers the news of the baby's arrival, the actress revealed the name and meaning after her choice.

It seems That Shay decided to call her daughter Rome, in honour of the late grandmother, who recently changed her life.

"To lose one of the most important people the same year that comes to life my second baby moved everything for me, but something remains forever in my soul. I'm sure they spent time together and it brings me peace and joy. We are so happy that you are here Rome, that you took the name of my best friend, my soul mate, my man, my grandmother Romaine." - Shay writes.

News of the second pregnancy, Mitchell made it public in February, when he wrote:

Saying goodbye to a loved one, while enjoying the arrival of another in this world is the great cycle of life," the actress wrote. "It's the most challenging time for me until today."

Mitchell dhe Babel janë prindër edhe të vajzës 2-vjeçare, Atlas, e cila erdhi në jetë në tetor të vitit 2019. Në janar të po të njëjtit vit, Shay zbuloi se kishte pësuar një abort spontan në vitin 2018.
