With the exception of a few iconic models, like Chanel 11.12, Lady Dior and Dior or the famous Birkin, bag trends are somewhat more transient.

According to Net-a-Porter, you should pay attention to knitted bags and strong neon colors. Stylist Rachael Wang says the biggest bag trend of the year has nothing to do with silhouette or color, but with materials. "I think we will see an increase in interest in alternative leather bags that have a reduced environmental impact," Wang told Harper's Bazaar.
