Amber Heard photos with marks on the body have been modified, says the expert

In the Depp-Heard trial, an expert on what is known as metadata - data used for photos, videos, pages, etc. - analyzed some of the photos of Heard claiming that she has bruising on body parts due to the violence of Johnny Depp.

Norbert "Bryan" Neumeister brought some examples that analyzed the photos submitted by Heard in which bruises appear on her arms or face. According to Neumeister, using Exif data analytics, some of the photos revealed that the software for the photos was not from an iPhone, but an editing program.

In his testimony, Neumeister stated that "there was no way for a forensic expert to verify these photos" and that he believed some of them had been altered. He added that the photos do not match each other and have different sizes.

This is not the first time Heard has been accused of modifying photos. Last week, Depp's lawyer, Camille Vasquez, accused Heard of editing photos where he appeared to be injured. When both photos were presented to the court, Heard claimed they had been shot separately, simply in different light. Vasquez, meanwhile, asked if it was the same photo, simply edited to make the skin look redder.

If the two photos are stacked on top of each other, fans have noticed that they match - so it's the same photo.
