The 58-year-old actor is currently suing his ex-wife Amber Heard, 35, in a $ 50 million (38 38.2 million) defamation lawsuit over allegations of abuse she made in an article in The Washington Post.
In the lawsuit against Heard, Depp has revealed that he is blind in one eye and claims to have suffered 'persistent physical abuse' from his mother.
If we go back in time, we can see that the actor hinted about his childhood difficulties, years ago.
Letterman first asks, "Have you always wanted children?"
Depp replied, "Oh yes of course, I adore it."
Letterman continues: "Did you come from a big family, a small family?"
The actor responds: "Uh yes, four kids, some kind of normal-sized family."
However, the program manager asks a question, to which Depp answers concisely and concisely.
He asked:
"Now that you are a parent, do you remember, do you immediately connect with what your parents were trying to do when they were raising you?"
Depp's answer is just a "No".
"Really?" Letterman asks.
The actor repeats:
"No, no, nothing rough!"
