Be careful with speed

By limiting speed, you will save more gas. By walking 5 or 10 miles more than the speed limit, you can reach your destination earlier, but find what? You will spend all the fuel and pay more money. 

Do not pick up the car when you do not need it

Drive only when you really need to. If your work is 15-25 minutes away from home, what is the need for all these expenses? Use it wisely and reduce it where you can. 

Plan ahead

An advance plan would help you save some fuel. Avoid schedules when traffic is at its peak and do not use it during that time. 

Check the car from time to time for possible defects

You know a faulty car would cost you more on all sides. Do not let fuel drain you, especially in difficult times like these. 

Note the changes in the price of fuel

In order not to fall prey to any abuses that are always possible.
