Bob Saget, the comedian and actor best known by the audience as Danny Tanner on the sitcom "Full House", has passed away at the age of 65, his family confirmed in a statement to CNN.

Saget was found dead in a hotel room Sunday in Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, according to a statement from the Orange County Sheriff's Office. The cause of death will be determined by forensic expertise.
