The last season of "La Casa de Papel" is over, a closing that made the fans of the series emotional, but let's say that they were satisfied.
Referring to the posts on social networks, many are happy with the way the events happened and the fact that the screenwriters managed to find a closure, without having to kill all the characters (left alive). How did it go?
Note: If you have not finished the series, do not read the following!
The five series of the fifth season, ie the second part, did not complicate the story, but brought a summary and solution of the plot. Tokyo's death was a blow to the gang, but they managed to extract the gold from the Bank of Spain. Colonel Tamayo's attempts to defeat the Professor failed, Alicia Sierra joined the latter, as the only way to prove her innocence.
Towards the end of the show, as the army had defeated the entire gang inside the bank, the Professor surrenders, but he plans B. This time, he sought to negotiate with the government. "Either we both win or we both lose," he tells Colonel Tamayo. For the safety of the gang, he puts gold in exchange for their lives. People thought they were killed by the army. Everyone started a new life, with fake passports. The real gold was hidden by Alicia and the Professor in Portugal.
Fans write that "Alicia Sierra was the one who stole their hearts". "The Professor-Alicia duo is the best part of this season."
Some are of the opinion that there may be a return of the band, with Professor and Alicia at the helm, but there has never been talk of another season.
