What's the meaning of the Christmas tree we put on every end?

The origin of Christmas, beyond the festive spirit, is based on tradition. One of its main symbols is fir trees, which as a tradition is set on December 6th, but have you ever wondered why we put up a Christmas tree?

Every winter, families all over the world decorate a tree, to call the holiday vigil officially open. It is decorated with lights from the most diverse, ornaments like colored balls, stars, and others. The New Year's Fir, as we albanians call it, is a Symbol of Christmas around the world.

Long ago the Christmas tree was just a pine tree, and there were no religious symbols. The Romans and ancient Egyptians brought green leaves home as the fateful and symbol of life in the severity of the winter cold. They believed that the sun was getting sick during winter, which explained why it occasionally appeared, without being able to warm up. They filled the houses with green plants to feel the arrival of generous spring as soon as possible.

Greening within houses was just a winter ritual, as a way to pray to the Lord of Agriculture. The Germans were the ones who began to put a pine wood in the house as a Christmas ornament in the 1970s, but by the 1980s, this rite was widely applied in its pagan form. Where does the idea of decorating the Christmas tree come with lights?

It is said that the idea of decorating the Christmas tree with lights came from Martin Luther, who was looking for a wood in the forest. He found the brightness of the stars in the sky amazing, and when he came home he hanged some candles through the branches to create the same atmosphere!
