As never before, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana presented their latest Alta Moda collection at St. Mark's Square in Venice.
In front of an audience with 400 super rich clients, among them Jennifer Lopez, Sean Combs, Doja Cat, Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, Ciara, Monica Bellucci, Christian Bale, Helen Mirren, Kitty Spencer etc.
Before the show Gabanna and Dolce said they planned to introduce a newer side of Alta Moda, “because everyone thinks fashion is for the old, but it shouldn’t be like that.” So many of the guests were young, like Jessie James and D'Lila Star (daughters Sean Combs), Deva (daughter of Monica Bellucci), Emmeline, (daughter of Christian Bale) etc.
The collection was inspired by the local handicrafts and culture of Venice. Many garments featured traditional embroidery and tulle creations.
Domenico Dolce, as a Catholic, said he was inspired by the Virgin Mary.
In the comments, people appreciate the fact that the two designers "restored confidence in fashion and revived the joy of uniting everyone together to see the show."
