Powerful meaning behind Demi Lovato's new song!

Demi Lovato just turned 29 years old! To celebrate the occasion, she released the music video for the new song, "Melon Cake".

Last year, Demi talked about eating disorders and how the team "controlled" him. They hid the fruit to stop him from eating sugar.

"If I was in my hotel room at night, they would make sure I could not get room service. Or if I had a lot of fruit in the room, they would remove it because it was 'extra sugar'. We are not talking about cakes, "Biscuits or things like that: They were just fruit!" she said.

This went on until the point that for the birthday, Taurus will be given a watermelon with white cream without fat on top as "cake", hence the song is called "watermelon cake".

The singer explained:

"For years we did this, turning it into a joke, but the truth is I just wanted a birthday cake."

The whole experience created the song "Melon Cake", where the singer shows that "she lived as a prisoner inside her mind" or apologizes to herself:

"My dear little self, forgive me for taking so long, but you are finally free!"

Having said that, children, adolescents, but also adults, should not tend towards such dietary extremes. Restrictions of this kind simply aggravate / provoke eating disorders, as well as affect the mental health of individuals.
