A new lawsuit alleges that Bob Dylan, the Nobel Prize-winning singer-songwriter, gave a 12-year-old girl drugs and alcohol before sexually abusing her in 1965.

The lawsuit alleges that "Times They Are A-Changin" singer befriended and formed an emotional connection with the plaintiff, identified in Manhattan Supreme Court documents, and that Dylan took advantage of her for about six weeks. The Guardian managed to get only the incidents of the girl, "JC".

The lawsuit filed this week on behalf of JC, now a 68-year-old woman living in Greenwich, Connecticut, alleges that Dylan, then 23 or 24, "used his status as a musician to lure JC to gain her trust. and to take control of him as part of his plan to harass and sexually abuse her. "

The lawsuit alleges that Dylan, named Robert Allen Zimmerman, abused the plaintiff several times, with several incidents occurring at the famous Chelsea hotel in Manhattan. According to the complaint, the emotional effects of the abuse on JC included depression, humiliation and anxiety which "are of a permanent and lasting nature and have made the plaintiff also" unable to pursue some normal life activities ".

JC is seeking unspecified damages and a jury trial on the charges, the consequences of which have prompted him to seek medical treatment in numerous cases. A spokesman for Dylan, now 80, told the Guardian on Monday that "the 56-year-old claim is untrue and will be strongly defended".
