This project * unlike * from Harvard aims to discover 'alien

A team from Harvard University has launched an exciting new project that will require evidence of 'foreign civilizations'.

Led by Professor Avi Loeb, of the Department of Astronomy at Harvard University, the Galileo project team will use astronomical study data and telescope observations to search for evidence of potentially destroyed or active extraterrestrial technology civilizations. The team will develop new artificial intelligence algorithms to detect potentially artificial interstellar objects, as well as satellites or unidentified aerial phenomena.

According to a press release, "the aim of the Galileo project is to bring real findings to everything that still remains an urban mystery or legend."

Professor Loeb said:

"In 2017, the world first observed an interstellar object called 'Oumuamua', which was briefly visiting our solar system. Based on astronomical observations, 'Oumuamua' turned out to have extremely anomalous properties that challenge well-understood natural explanations. until now."

This is thought to be an 'object similar to a thin plate and some that look like communication antennas' - This description reminds you of something, of course: Aliens!

A report released by the Pentagon last month reported 144 UFO sightings by U.S. military personnel since 2004, though only one was identified with certainty.

Experts say that "the scientific community needs high determination to do systematic and transparent research".

"Science should not reject possible extraterrestrial explanations because of the social or cultural stigma that seeks to explain more 'normal' findings," says Loeb.
