"The Simpsons" is often rumored to have "predicted the future several times" and the animated series, currently in its 32nd season, apparently also predicted Branson's space flight .
British billionaire Richard Branson successfully traveled in space with his Virgin Galactic rocket, becoming the first person to go into space on a ship built by his own company.
The billionaire had revealed he would be flying into space earlier this month in a surprise announcement - but it looks like the moment was predicted in The Simpsons seven years ago.
A scene from the long Fox show bears many strange resemblances to images of Branson floating inside his rocket. The scene, according to the New York Post, appeared in Season 25 episode "The War of Art." It has gone viral on social media and people keep asking "how is it possible that this series predicts everything?"
