Italian television icon Raffaella Carrà dies

Raffaella Carrà, the famous Italian presenter and actress has passed away at the age of 78. The news of her death was announced by the famous choreographer Sergio Iapino.

Raffaella, in addition to being famous was a very famous character to the public. She stood out for her determination in the projects she undertook, work which led her to international success. For a long time, the icon of the Italian screen suffered from a serious illness, which became the reason for her separation from life.

Carra, well known to Albanians was a singer, dancer, actress and moderator for a long period of time, starting from the 1960s to the early 2000s.

She quickly became an entertainment icon for the people after showing that she was the lady to stand out in scenes that were then dominated by men such as Corrado, Mike Bongiorno or Pippo Baudo.

Disa prej këngët më të famshme të saj ishin "Rumore", "Com'e' bello far l'amore da Trieste in giu'" dhe "Salutala per me", e ndërsa programet më të njohura ishin "Carramba che Sorpresa, Carramba che fortuna", "Fantastico 3", "Canzonissima", etj.  Për shumë vite ajo punoi në televizionin  shtetëror italian, Tv Rai, e ndërsa në 1987-ën, firmosi kontratën me Mediaset.  Gjatë viteve 90-të, Raffaella prezantoi edhe programe të ndryshme për televizionin spanjoll, e ndërsa në 2001-shin, ishte moderatorja e Sanremo Song Festival.

Ndër të tjera, emri i saj njihej gjithashtu si gruaja e parë që doli me barkun jashtë para kamerave. Moderatorja e famshme asokohe  u përblall me kritika të ashpra nga Vatikani dhe kishat katolike që kishin parë shfaqjen e saj Canzonissima.
