Given the improvement of the current situation of Covid-19 in the country, during the meeting of the Expert Committees, Minister Manastirliu was asked about the free movement of citizens who have been vaccinated with both doses of anti-Covid.
Specifically, the Minister was asked if there is a decision by European Union countries regarding vaccines that will be considered "acceptable" for citizens to travel freely within the bloc.
To the question whether Albanian citizens vaccinated with Sputnik V (Russian vaccine) or Sinovac (Chinese vaccine) can travel freely through Europe, Manastirliu answered as follows:
"From the information we have from the WHO and the EMA, the two vaccines are being considered for emergency marketing authorization. I believe there will be quick news. So far there are no restrictions placed on the types of vaccines."
Meanwhile, the Committee of Experts announced today (May 5th) that the 14-day quarantine for citizens traveling from Greece and Macedonia will be lifted. At the same time, students can return to university authors for consultation about exams.
