Last month, K-pop stars shone on the Grammy red carpet, each wearing their own version of a Louis Vuitton costume. Aside from the fact that they looked nice, in fact it is likely that the appearance was merely a preparation for what was to come. Louis Vuitton announced that BTS members - Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook - are the newest ambassadors of the fashion house.

Louis Vuitton, one of the most popular luxury brands in the world, says that BTS is "undoubtedly one of the most popular and influential groups in the world". They have been nominated for Grammys, have reaped success on the Billboard and have broken Guinness World Records and so on.

"I am delighted that BTS is joining Louis Vuitton. I look forward to this wonderful partnership that adds a modern chapter to our fashion house, fusion of contemporary luxury and culture," said Virgil Abloh, Artistic Director for Men's Clothing in Louis Vuitton.

BTS have collaborated with sports brands like Puma or Fila, but the collaboration with Louis Vuitton marks their first time as ambassadors of a luxury brand.
