The smile you have can tell a lot more about you than you think. On the other hand you too can read people’s minds just by looking at their facial expressions. Have you noticed that not every smile conveys positive energy to you? Why does this happen?
According to experts, there are three main types of smiles.
1. The reward smile
It is symmetrical. The lips are pulled to the bottom and the teeth joined.
2. The smile of cooperation
This type of smile communicates tolerance, knowledge and conveys the feeling of a close relationship.
3. Dominant smile
The raised cheekbone and only one side of the lip raised shows the desire to dominate and feel superior to the others.
However, in addition to the main categories there are other types of smiles that speak more about us.
1. Flirty smile
Also known as the "Mona Lisa" smile. It is one of the most mysterious smiles and is usually used in embarrassing moments. You make that smile and look away immediately. It only lasts for a moment, usually while you are flirting with someone.
2. Sincere smile
It is one of the simplest smiles to distinguish. The muscles themselves reflect the sincerity of the moment and the positive emotions. This is the smile that forms wrinkles, but lasts as long as you want!
3. Contemptuous smile
This is not a positive habit. Shows a kind of contempt or ignorance for the other person. One corner of the lip is more taut and raised higher than the other.
4. The "tight" smile
It is a failed attempt to keep the laughter going. Do you mind when you want to be polite and not laugh out loud as it is not the right place? We have this stamped smile.
5. Pretending smile
It is quite simple to distinguish. The facial muscles do not interact at all and you do not see any wrinkles.
6. The smile of fear
The teeth are all out. It looks like you are laughing, but you are actually nervous. Eyebrows are also raised with tension!
