Businessman Albert Krasniqi was killed on January 27 by his father, who later notified police.

Today, other details about the event have been revealed.

The incident took place in the parking lot of the building where they resided. In still unclear circumstances, Skënder Krasniqi shot at his son, who died immediately as a result of the wound received from the firearm.

The media in Kosovo suggest that a revolver, a caricature, three bullets, a cartridge and a projectile were found at the scene. The victim's body was sent for forensic examination.

The Basic Court in Prishtina has decided to leave Skënder Krasniqi in prison, while the victim's uncle, Ismet Krasniqi, gave another version of the story to the media in Prishtina.

According to him, Skënderi accidentally shot the boy.

"First of all, I thank all those who participated in the funeral. Unfortunately, in our family a disaster happened that happens very often in many countries of the world, even in Kosovo. Coincidentally. the brother's son bought a pistol, told his father, the bullet was inside and he did not know there was a bullet.

Appeal for caution, that the weapon belongs to Satan, not man. Unfortunately, today’s youth is accustomed to them and it is a major flaw. "I hope that the police in the future will deal with this matter and confiscate weapons, especially those who sell them", said Krasniqi.

He added:

"Albert is known to have been a problematic boy, but in terms of family he has been a good boy."

Regarding Albert Krasniqi's relationship with his ex-wife, the uncle confirmed the separation, but denied that the deceased raped her.

"It was true, they were separated several times, since the youth today are separated for a small problem, but there was no big problem to be separated, there was no eternal separation. "It was a temporary separation, which has happened other times, but now we can freely say that it is a permanent separation, that Albert died," he told the Express newspaper.

The uncle also denied that the deceased had attacked his father, before the latter fired his firearm:

Të pandehurit S.K. gjykata i ka caktuar masën e paraburgimit në kohëzgjatje prej 1 (një) muaji, pasi që e njëjta ka konstatuar se janë përmbushur kriteret në bazë të nenit 187 paragrafi 1 nën paragrafi 1.1 dhe 1.2 pika 1.2.2 dhe 1.2.3 të KPPRK-së.
