Businessman Albert Krasniqi, a former member of Babastars, was killed by his father, Skënder Krasniqi, yesterday, January 27th.

The father then informed the police himself and after seizing the weapon, he was arrested. 

Albert Krasniqi was wanted by the police, after he raped his ex-wife, Besa Gashi, "Miss Kosova" of 2006.

The media in Kosovo report that the murder of the businessman came as a result of the clash he had with his father, who had asked him to surrender to the police, after the violence against his ex-wife.

The couple had recently ended their marriage and both were the parents of a daughter.

Albert Krasniqi was also known for his connections with showbiz characters and as a "former member of the Babastars group".

On September 13, 2016, Krasniqi had a conflict with rapper Noizy, whom he injured in Pristina.

2 years later, Noizy was fined two thousand euros for the incident where he was injured and Krasniqi, the person accused of injuring the rapper, was sentenced to 6 months in prison with the possibility of serving the sentence in cash.
