Keira Knightley, the famous actress of many famous movies has played hundreds of scenes during her career, enough to draw a few lessons.
During a recent interview, Knightley showed how her attitude towards sex scenes has changed experience after experience. The actress is convinced that she will not shoot any more sex scenes if the director of the film is a man.
"I have nothing to do with filming sex scenes, but there is something with men. It is partly futile that scene and there is also something when viewed from a male perspective. If I were playing the story of a woman who is experiencing her body changes after motherhood, forgive me, but I would agree to do it with a woman screenwriter and director.
I don’t want to be part of those sex scenes where everyone is oiled and sighing. I'm not at all interested in doing that. "I feel very uncomfortable now if I try to portray the masculine point of view through them," said Keira.
However, even this decision is accompanied by exceptions, as there are cases when the actress judges that a certain sex scene in a movie is worth it and she would do it without thinking twice!
