After winning it as an award, a woman claimed that her candle from "Goop", an online site focusing on well-being, "exploded" in the waiting room.
Judy Thompson says she won it in an online quiz from the actress's wellness brand.
"This Smells Like My Vagina" hit the market in January 2020 and quickly gained worldwide attention.
Prior to the launch of the product, Goop described the fragrance as "ridiculous, sexy and unexpected." Ingredients include geranium, bergamot, cedar and rose.
Apparently, these are not the only candle ingredients.
Speaking to The Sun, Thompson claims:
"It simply came to our notice then. I had never seen anything like it. The whole thing was heated and was too en hot to touch. There was hell in the room. "
Thompson said they managed to take control of the blast by opening the front door of their home.
"It simply came to our notice then. It was scary when it happened, but now it seems a bit ridiculous. "
Representatives of Good said:
"We are in contact with the woman to see if she followed the specific fire safety instructions contained in the candle, such as cutting the wick and not burning it for more than two hours. At goop, we check the products we sell and we make customer safety a priority, so we've notified the manufacturer of the woman 's issue and also managed to contact her to send her some goop products to help pass the days in quarantine. "
One such candle sells for 69 online.
After the success of this product, the actress has released "This Smells Like My Orgasm" and "This Smells Like My Prenup"
