Supermodel Stella Tennant passed away on December 22 and from what was reported, her death was "sudden" and from previous investigations "there were no suspicious circumstances". However, her family has recently revealed that Stella committed suicide after a battle with mental health. In a statement to the Telegraph, the family of the deceased said that she had been "ill for some time".
"We have been humbled by the messages of support since Stella passed away. She was a beautiful soul, adored by family and good friends, a sensitive and talented woman, whose creativity, intelligence and humor touch so many people. "
Following the statement, the family members said:
"She was ill for some time. So it is a deep sorrow and despair for us that she felt unable to continue, despite the love of those around her. "
A source quoted by the Telegraph says the family made the news public because they "think it is important to raise awareness about mental health, as it is often misunderstood".

In August 2020, the supermodel ended her marriage to David Lasnet, after more than 20 years.
Tennant's name was one of the most curved in the catwalk world in the early '90s. Her fashion shows for designers like Karl Lagerfeld or Gianni Versace make the model quickly occupy the covers of Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. Despite the years, it remained highly sought after. In 2018 she appeared on the cover of Vogue and in January 2020, she opened the fashion show for Valentino.
