In moments of anxiety, we feel like we are stuck inside a shell and it seems like we will never be able to get out of there. Thankfully, there are some simple ways to help us get rid of bad thoughts, you just may not have encountered them before.
1. Lifting the ice
Hold an ice pack under the eyes for 30 seconds. This can distract you from bad thoughts as the cold stimulates reflexes in the nervous system, reducing the speed of breathing and heartbeat. Something like this will bring you back to a state of calm.
2. Removal of fertilizers
In a letter write down all the negative thoughts and honestly ask yourself if these thoughts correspond to your reality. Studies have shown that bad thoughts make us feel bad and such activities help us identify harmful notions and think more objectively.
3. Removal of stairs
Sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes and take a deep breath. Imagine for a second you were transposed into the karmic driven world of Earl. The more you focus on this exercise, the less room there will be in your mind for vain thoughts.
