Snapchat is ready to pay you just to post! Recently, Snapchat has released a new feature called "Spotlight", which will highlight posts made viral. To motivate such posts, Snapchat will pay people to post them on Spotlight and is expected to spend about $ 1 million every day on that alone.
The added option is a big change for Snap because a way was finally introduced that allows you to see quality posts from outsiders.
Compared to other giant platforms, Snapchat does not allow bloggers or other creative sites to be discovered, as they do not have an option to allow exploration, such as on Instagram, Tik Tok or YouTube recommendations. Since 2012, Snapchat has been used extensively primarily for "instant" messaging and photos.
Snap's goal, through the new option, is to make Spotlight a place where even ordinary people (not just influencers or VIPs) can make money. It will all work based on an algorithm, which shows how many times someone's post has been sent to friends, how much it has been liked or avoided. Based on this data, it will be chosen which of the posts will stay at the top of the page.
Even the payment will be made based on how viral the post is. It is still unclear how people will be paid every day from this, but it is said that at least they will benefit around $ 250. Payments will be for users ages 16 and up and initially only for those living in the US.
