Social media users, right after the first debate on the presidential race of the United States of America, were also involved with the dress of Melania and Ivanka Trump, which had only one thing in common: the face mask.

Melania appeared in a Dolce & Gabbana suit and Manolo Blahnik shoes. The dark dress made her compare the First Lady to a mafia boss on Twitter.

Ivanka, on the other hand, chose a dramatically opposite costume. She was presented with an outfit by Gabriela Hearst, accompanied by a $ 4,700 Chanel handbag. White costumes are considered in the US as a symbol of modern feminism, while Melania chose to be represented differently. 

In addition, Melania chose an outfit from D&G, based in Italy, a country that has opposed Trump "America First" policy - a foreign policy stance that generally emphasizes isolation; the concept dates back to 1918, while most recently being part of Donald Trump's policy, which emphasizes the U.S. withdrawal from international treaties and organizations.
