When you think that things can not go worse than this this year, a torrential rain starts in September and you, still in the south, remember that you are without an umbrella. In this distant year of civilization, no tent has yet been invented to do the work, a tent to alert you when you forget it in the cafe, or a way to control the weather. To be fair, if we have taken humans to the moon, we can find a damn way to control the weather as it suits us!
But we, we will do it. We do not need tents and their tangle. We are capable, agile, intelligent. Instead of a tent, on a rainy day, especially on a rainy day where you have to finish work around town, try:
1.
A hat.
2.
A thick book, maybe a hardcover furniture catalog.
3.
A giant cape with a hood.
4.
A shower cap.
5.
A scarf wrapped around her head like Audrey Hepburn.
6.
A coat thrown over the head, stuck to the forehead and chin, thus leaving space just for the eyes.
7.
A pair of vacations in a place where it does not rain.
8.
One house. Not over your head, just a house to put your head in.
9.
A heroic man.
10.
And finally, nothing. Wet in the rain like a loser.
