Albania and Kosovo will finally have a joint championship.
From the next edition 2020-2021, the best professional basketball teams in Albania and Kosovo, will compete in a joint league.
This Thursday, the long-rumored decision was formalized in a ceremony by the two Federations, which signed the agreement.
Basketball will unite the two countries in what will be called the Unique League .
In the first edition of the Joint League, 8 teams will participate.
Respectively from Albania will compete: Tirana, Vllaznia, Teuta and Goga Basket, while from Kosovo, the League will be joined by Prishtina, Peja, Rahovec and KB Ylli.
Meanwhile, collaborations are expected in other Federations as well.
